Sagi Daren, Business Development Consultant
Sagi Daren was the initiator of the Daren Innovation Center. Sagi holds a MSc. degree in materials engineering focusing on the physical properties of nano-materials, and a BA in chemical engineering, both from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Sagi also serves as a senior R&D engineer at El-Mul Technologies LTD, developing Nanotechnology-based devices for future company products. Prior to this, Sagi was part of the failure analysis team at ITH and took part in various projects in development and consulting to numerous start-up companies in the fields of IC's and MEMS. Sagi serves as a field-company commander in the IDF reserves with the rank of captain.

Dr. Steve Daren, Founder
Steve Daren set up the Innovation Center on the foundations of the Scientific Consulting company that bears his name. Steve holds PhD and Master's degrees in polymer science from the Weizmann Institute, Rehovot. He has more than thirty years of experience in the Chemical Industry and Academia. In 1988, he set up his own consulting company and laboratories, whose client list includes leading Israeli industries and academic institutions. He is a project examiner for the European Commission and participates in several European-funded consortia. He has initiated, and invested in, a company that is developing new optical polymers that was recently accepted into a technological
incubator.
